1. Guide and encourage all Baha'i social and economic development
in the country in line with the direction stated in our Vision
Statement & Guiding Principles. |
- Educate the national Baha'i community and selected LSAs
about the importance of S&ED with the aim of encouraging
communities to implement S&ED projects of their own.
This can be achieved by:
- sending articles on Baha'i S&ED for inclusion
in the monthly National Baha'i Newsletter.
- meeting with the LSAs in Chiang Mai, Bangkok, and
Hat Yai to share the Foundation's vision.
- setting up a web site in order to promote the Foundation's
activities on the Internet

| 2. Developing the Training Function
of the Foundation. |
- The Foundation will study, prepare, and obtain S&ED
training materials that it can develop training courses.
- Widen the Foundation's scope of influence by becoming
a public training provider or consultant with schools and
government agencies on S&ED. This includes encouraging
schools to adopt the Baha'i curriculum, so that we do not
have to invest in building new schools.
- Hold at least 1 public workshop per year on S&ED,
firstly for communities and LSAs, and then later on, at
least one public workshop per year for NGOs in order to
share the Foundation's vision in Omgoi, Yasothorn, Chiang
Mai, Phattalung, and Bangkok.

Note: Training of public agencies, such
as NGOs, will most probably start to take place from Year 4
of the Plan as we have to develop our own materials, knowledge
and understanding of Baha'i social and economic development. |

3. Develop the Capacity of the Foundation
Members. |
- Each Foundation members will try out training materials
relating to S&ED, and share his/her experiences and
ideas with the other members in order to build each other's
capacity.
- Each Foundation member will participate as a Trainer in
the Foundation's workshops.
- Implement a process for reviewing our progress, and for
learning from what we do effectively and ineffectively.
We will share this learning with each other.
